These people are individuals and organisations which either give direct services to survivors or are advocates.There are also those who give financial support for the total upkeep of survivors when they report at the various partner sites. The network is currently made up of organizations and individuals working directly or indirectly with women and children survivors of violence. It is managed by a steering committee and hosted by a member a nominated member organization annually. Currently, the network is not a legal
entity, and therefore has no constitution, bylaws, staff or executive.
However, plans are far advanced to have it registered for it to have a
legal status.
One
can become a member by filling a registration form which can be obtained
at the secretariet at WISE.A yearly dues of sixty thousand (60)cedis is
paid by both individuals and organisations.
Meetings
are held four times a year in the months of March, June, September and
December.All except the December meetings hace already been held.Emergency
meetings are also held in the cause of the year when issues arise.The
committees also meet to draft their programmes for the year and also discuss
how to keep programmes going.
