Coker-Appiah, Executive Director, Board of Directors
A graduate of Wesley Girls and University of Ghana, Legon. A lawyer
by training, she is a women's rights activist with a keen interest
in using law as a tool for women's empowerment.

| Margaret
Brew-Ward, Program Officer
A graduate of the University of Cape Coast, Margaret is one of the
newest members of the Gender Centre Staff. Before coming to the
Gender Centre, she was with the Girl Child Unit of the Ministry
of Education.
As
Program Officer, Margaret has been in working on the Nkyinkyim Pilot
Project since June 2002.

Esther
Poku Mensah, Programme
Support/Documentation Officer
|
Esthe is a para-legal
and a young women/human rights activists. She holds a higher
national diploma. She has worked with the Gender Studies and Human
Rights and Documentation Centre for the past five years. Currently
she is the Programme Support/Administrative Officer and also in
charge of the Documentation unit.
Esther
is in charge of the daily administrative details of the office,
as well as the Documentation Centre.
Her
skills lies in organizing workshops and teaching. She has a wealth
of information on documenting women's human rights abuses and has
facilitated workshops on it. |
Rachel
Irura, Intern
Rachel is an intern from Kenya

Joyce
Aglubie, Supporting staff
Joyce is one of the Gender Centre's support staff and has been with
the Centre for three years. She is an electrician by profession.

Hamlet
Dzikunu, Driver
Hamlet is also one of the Gender Centre's support staff. He has been
with the Centre for four years.
